Vaathi Box Office Collection Day 2 / Vaathi Worldwide Collection / Dhanush's latest film Vaathi, or Sir hits the screens on 17 February. Vaathi's Tamil-Telugu bilingual drama has released with a Telugu version titled Sir. Both versions got a large number of screens and the FDFS (First Day First Show) for the film started at 8 am.

The film is expected to earn Rs 14 crore at the box office on Day 1. As per the reports, the Dhanush starrer has touched the sky on the first day and the film has collected Rs 8 crore at the box office. 4 crore in Tamil Nadu alone and reportedly earned Rs 4 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The film is said to have collected a total of Rs 12 crore and is expected to earn more during this time.
After receiving positive reviews from fans and movie goers yesterday the movie bookings have increased by 60% in theatres. The makers of the film officially announced on social media that 'Vaathi' is a blockbuster film.
According to sources, the film Vaathi can earn up to 20 crores on the second day due to weekend off and Mahashivaratri.
